MARILENA ZAMBOURA (1954)

Born in Athens, Marilena Zamboura studied etching at the School of Fine Arts (1972-1977) with Constantine Grammatopoulos and design at the École Supérieure des Beaux Arts, Paris (1977-1978).  She had her first solo exhibition in Athens (1981).  Other one-woman and group shows followed in Greece and abroad.  At this stage of her work her painting has reached the limits of abstraction.  She lives and works in Athens.
