ACHILLEAS CHRISTIDIS (1959)

Born in Piraeus, Achilleas Christidis studied stage scenery and staging at the Theater School of the "Artistic Research Renaissance" in Athens.  In painting he is a self taught.  He had his first one-man show in Piraeus (1978).  Other solo and group exhibitions followed in Greece and abroad.  In the field of descriptive painting, he has created in his work a personal perspective style with distinct surrealist elements.   He lives and works in Athens.
