  MARIA MILONA-KIRIAKIDI (1942-2010)

Born in Athens, Maria Milona-Kiriakidi studied at the Vakalo School with Panayotis Tetsis (1962-1965).  She had her first solo exhibition in Athens 1973.  She presented her paintings in the Greek capital in a number of other solo and group exhibitions as well.  She had also exhibited her work in Paris.  These particular paintings belong to her surrealist work.  She was the daughter of sculptor Alex Milonas.  Maria Milona-Kiriakidi passed away in Athens (2010).
