YANNIS
GRAMMATICOPOULOS (1928)
Born in
Athens, Yannis

(1947-1952) with Umbertos Argyros and etching (1952-1953) with Yannis
Kefallinos. With a scholarship he continued his studied at
the École des Beaux Arts in Paris
(1957-1958), painting with Maurice
Brianchon and fresco with Ducos de la Haille.
He had his first one-man
exhibition in Athens (1956).
Other solo and group
shows followed in Athens and abroad. Since
1957 he settled permanently abroad, initially

His work is mainly
abstract or beyond and demonstrates, with the method of the co-existant
dialectic plasticity, his personal cosmotheory: cosmography.
He
lives and works in Brussels.
